In Washington on Tuesday doctors have now found new ways of diagnosing Alzheimer’s disease. Now instead of one key symptom such as memory loss, doctors are finding new ways of discovering this disease that can be found 10years earlier. What arose this scientific discovery is the new developments in technology in the medical field. For three decades progress on diagnosing people with Alzheimer’s hasn’t changed, until now. I personally feel this is a great discovery that truely shows how far along we have come in medical research. This issue affects Canadians because everyone is affected with this terrible disease and with the help of brilliant minds we may one day be able to cure people of the disease for good. Canada and the media favour these new studies because of the amazing accomplishments it will have in catching Alzheimer’s earlier on, making it easier to treat.
